Paul Gianneschi is the Managing Principal and Founder of Hatch Medical, L.L.C., a privately held medical device incubator and technology brokerage firm focused on assisting physician inventors, entrepreneurs and companies with the commercialization of minimally invasive medical device technologies.
Paul has spent the past 25 years as an executive in the healthcare industry. Prior to founding Hatch Medical in 2000, Paul served over seven years in a series of senior level marketing and sales management roles with medical device industry leader, C. R. Bard, Inc.'s Peripheral Vascular Division (recently acquired by Becton Dickinson). Prior to joining Bard, Paul worked in similar capacities with Bausch & Lomb and NDC Health / McKesson.
Paul earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and an Executive M.B.A. in International Management from Mercer University, where he currently serves on the board of their new innovation center and business school’s Board of Visitors.
Paul is a past-president and current board member of the Southeastern Medical Device Association, an investor and board member of the Bio/Med Investor Network, as well as a board member of Mermaid Medical, a privately-held Denmark-based medical device company.
Paul is a past board member of Piedmont Healthcare and Mercer University’s joint Center for Health and Learning as well Conexx; the American – Israel Chamber of Commerce, SE Region Medical Committee.
Paul is also an avid fencer and the current Treasurer of the United States Fencing Coaches Association and serves as an advisor to U.S. Fencing. He is a licensed fencing referee, coach and former club owner. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Paul and his spouse, Lisa, a practicing attorney, have two daughters.
